Top 8 Best Waist Trimmer Belt Reviews
1. Sweet Sweat Premium Waist Trimmer, for Men & Women
Our Rating: (4.5 / 5)
Starting with one of our favourites. This waist trimmer is a bit more expensive than others on the market, but still incredibly affordable. I tried it on alongside my husband and two friends. It fit me, with an hourglass waist but a belly pouch from pregnancy. It fit my very slim friend. And it fit both my husband, a tall thin man, and our friend who is a larger man. Only one complaint: it’s not very wide, so we all felt some pinching. We all found it very comfortable. After using it a week I definitely noticed a reduction in my waist of about an inch! The carry bag was handy too.
2. TNT Pro Series Waist Trimmer Weight Loss Ab Belt
Our Rating: (4.5 / 5)
The size difference between this one jumps up much faster. Getting an original, we found it fit three of us very well, but didn’t fit our larger friend at all. So be sure to err on the side of caution with this one. That said, it is extra wide fitting, and that extra inch or two makes all the difference. It covers the whole stomach without pinching or bunching. It also has an anti-slip feature, so it didn’t move around and chafe me during workouts. My waist shrunk visibly, by close to an inch. However it degraded very easily and had to be replaced for the next year. It isn’t cheap, either.
3. AZSPORT Waist Trimmer – Adjustable Ab Sauna Belt
Our Rating: (4.3 / 5)
This product claims one size fits up to 50 inches… and it delivers! All of us could wear the same size comfortably. But my slim friend couldn’t wear it at all, it was just so loose on her. It also mentions back support as a feature, and I personally did find myself less sore after workouts when I used it. My waist shrunk by two inches, which I am very pleased with. But I can’t help but feel that even though it worked for me, perhaps it isn’t as inclusive as it claims to be. 50 inches is by far not the biggest size on the market, and it’s too big for smaller people.
4. McDavid Waist Trimmer Ab Belt
Our Rating: (4.2 / 5)
Another one that promotes back support, and I definitely found it useful in that respect. At the time my husband was actually suffering a back injury, so he got one too and used it during workouts. I’m not sure whether it was the actual support, or the improved posture, but it helped. Sadly it’s another one size fits most brand, so smaller and bigger people may not find it works for them. It is one of the smallest OSFM belts I have tried on. It helped me shed an inch, though.
5. Bracoo Adjustable Waist Trimmer Belt or Arm & Thigh Slimming Bands
Our Rating: (4.1 / 5)
This is a slightly more expensive product, but I was excited that it advertised it could be used on arms and legs as well. Bingo wings and thunder thighs just aren’t what I want to look like, so I gave it a go. I was actually a bit disappointed in that aspect. It’s so big it doesn’t really fit arms or legs very well. But the reduction in size means the waist maximum is forty inches. So over all the sizing was a poor choice. And it lost its shape over time. That said, it did take an inch off my waist when I tried it, so it works. It’s just a shame about the other features advertised.
6. The Shred Belt – Waist Trimmer Belt
Our Rating: (3.6 / 5)
This was more expensive than my usual trials, so I had high expectations of it. I was a bit disappointed in the width, as it does pinch your skin a little when you move. But it stayed firmly in place and didn’t bunch up like other narrow belts. The large size fit all of us comfortably. But the ranges are very broad, so err on the side of caution again. This one is a beast, though, taking two and a half inches off my waist. So I’m a little torn. It works great. But it’s so narrow it sometimes chafes.
7. Waist Trimmer Ab Belt Trainer for Faster Weight Loss
Our Rating: (4.2 / 5)
The sizing on this one was much more like it. A bit wider, just enough to be comfortable, but firm so it didn’t degrade over time. It really keeps its shape. A year later I took it out of storage for swimwear season and I could still use it. It’s one size fits most, only this time both our larger and our smaller friend found it fit. It really works too, taking two inches off my waist in only a week.
8. EzyFit Waist Trimmer – Premium Weight Loss Exercise Ab Belt
Our Rating: (3.7 / 5)
This one advertises itself as one size fits most, but it is actually not very snug at all on smaller bodies. They do offer a smaller size, but we haven’t tried it to see how it fits. And for larger people: it literally measures forty two inches, so it realistically only fits up to forty. Plus, it’s another that’s only eight inches wide, which seems just the right width to pinch. All that said, it’s really cushy and flexible, and I shed an inch whilst using it.
How Do Waist Trimmer Belts Work?
You’ve heard it, I’ve heard it, we all have: “It’s not possible to lose fat from one specific spot.” And this is kind of true. There is no food that will make some fat go away and not other fat. There is no exercise that will reveal your abs. But there are still ways of losing fat from our bellies without going for surgery. And waist trimmer belts are one of them.
Waist trimmer belts work with heat and pressure. By retaining heat they make us sweat, shedding water weight. And making our waistlines hot increases our body temperature internally, revving our metabolism. Finally, the pressure on your stomach encourages your skin to tighten, a bit like a corset, and re-shapes your waist. The end result? A slimmer waistline, and maybe even abs.
To use it, simply strap it on so your belly button is in the middle. Make sure it fits snugly against your skin, otherwise it won’t retain heat. Then, do your exercise as usual. That’s what I do, anyway, and it works wonders.
Our Favourite Waist Trimmer Belt
All the waist trimmer belts we looked at today gave us some pretty impressive results. But one really stood out from the rest. The Waist Trimmer Ab Belt Trainer for Faster Weight Loss really hit the spot for me. The sizing was just right, I shed two whole inches, and it held its shape through use and even in storage. I can’t think of any major downside to it, except maybe the lack of range, which has been a battle with all of them.
